Title: Long-EZ dimensions
Post by: RPM314 on February 22, 2013, 05:13:50 PM
Hi, all. I'm thinking about building a remote controlled 1/6 scale model of the long-ez, but it seems that every set of plans available costs a good sum of money. I do not need all of the specifications that would apply to the full scale, just the general dimensions for the outline. If anybody could fill me in on this, it would be great. Absolutely exact measurements are not needed, but within an inch or two would be best. Thanks in advance. -RPM

It says that the file doesn't exist. Is there actually supposed to be a "..." in the URL? Because it's showing up in the browser's URL box.

When you click on the link, and progress through to page 129, it will give you the main wing dimensions and should be a big help for you.  After clicking on the above link, clickn on download.  On the google page that pops up, click on, "download anyway".  Then click on download.  The download should then begin.  It did for me anyway.  Did that work???

Yup. I have the file, but there is no page 129/ It is numbered 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, etc. Is it like that for you?

I meant page 129 of the PDF.  As far as chapter, it is 19-10.  This shows a planform view of a wing with all the dimensions.  A three view is on the last page and may be adequate for your purpose.

Ah, but that would require money, which is an endangered species around these parts. ::)
