Title: Oil Cooler needs replaced.
Post by: allen on January 27, 2008, 10:54:37 PM
Went for a short hop around the pattern just to get the motor warmed up. After I landed I found a bit of oil streaking out from the oil cooler. I may need to replace it, just to error on the side of safety since from a quick look it appears that a leak has developed in the core. I’m a big fan of doing things once so I would like to replace it with the highest quality cooler available. Any recommendations? It is going on a Lycoming O-320 160hp motor.
Also can anybody out there recommend a good Glider tape for sealing up seams?

Hi Al
I got mine from Wicks nearly 22 years ago and no leaks.
