Title: Hello from a newbie

Just joined up and wanted to say hello. I recently obtained a partially built Long Ez project, and am in the research phase right now. I have a lot of reading to do before I start, but have always been fascinated by the Rutan canards!
I currently own and instruct in a Flight Design CTLS light sport aircraft and also own a portion of a PA-24-250. I thought my wife was going to kill me when I came home with this project. I think she will enjoy it when its done though especially if it will outrun the Cirrus she flies!
Well no dumb questions yet but standby!

Eric, Where are you located? Make a point of joining Central States Association and get the directory of members. You will never meet such a great bunch of knowledgeable and willing individuals, who will share their knowledge and help with your project.

I'm located in a little town in S.E. Arizona called Bisbee. I will look into joining the CSA, sounds like it will be very beneficial. I'm also lucky to have a wonderful multi canard owner on the field that is enthusiastic about my project. Hopefully I don't wear him down with to many questions!
