Title: fuel valve

hello all,
i am thinking of re-locating my VE fuel valve to the front like the long eze..but i am afraid that the fuel wont flow...during climbs ( that is if i forget to turn on the electric fuel pump...
right now my ve is standard w/ the aluminum tubes going to the back.....feel is not as good as the " in between legs" of long fuel valve... appreciate all your help;;; :(

Keep safe with Burts design!!
Theres nothing Wrong with the stock system, besides if you did move the valve, and had an electrical failure, there is a good probablility that the engine will starve for fuel and most likely quit (perhaps just after takeoff!)

The long eze valve that has a good feel, as in you can feel the detents, is the Allen valve. The old brass valve can be replaced with the allen valve in the original location and works very well.

I just replaced mine last week and the Allen Valve is working great. Much smoother and easier to turn. It wasn't a lot of trouble as it just bolts into the same holes. The biggest problem was getting the universal joint to fit and get everything lined up.

dont change from Burts design to many of us happy VE drivers with the stock system however change the valve. It is smoother. David Hanson

do you have any other suggestion?..brand?>.part number?? thnx again

the best system, expensive,but great! used in lancair,van's, and cirrus. these are all dealers also as well as aircraft spruce.
