Hangar Flying / Registering a previously registered Long-EZ
« on: August 04, 2010, 07:25:29 AM »
How do I go about registering a previously registered Long-EZ? The previous owner de-registered due to liability. I understand the paperwork aspect. I am really curious about the lack of construction documentation. Are there DAR's that will sign-off on a project based upon an airframes past airworthy status.

Hangar Flying / Varieze Header Tank
« on: March 16, 2010, 04:44:54 PM »
I recommend you read the canard pusher newsletters. CP's 11, 15, 16 & 18 address the fuselage tank on the varieze. Those issues specifically address the fuel system change to the original plans and why! The tank is required!

Hangar Flying / Roncz Canard Construction Question
« on: March 27, 2005, 01:36:32 PM »
I am working on my roncz canard. I am to the point of laying up the spar caps. As I read it, the layers of tape are left to my discretion so as to fill the troughs. I know it says that each layer will be approximately 4 to 6 inches shorter than the preceeding layer. Does anyone have anymore guidance than what is in the plans?
