Hi Guys

I just wanteded to thank everyone for their imput

I learned tons of stuff. I ordered my glass panel and electric nose gear today.

I guess the funds with be slim for the next few weeks.

My next step  is to face the existing panel with 1/8" 2023 T 3

and paint the inside with some Zolatone

I'll stay in touch

Thanks Again

Hi Bruce

Thanks for the info. It's going to go a long (get it) way
It 11:45 PM in New York and I just finished taking out  all the old stuff
What a mess.!!!!!!
I am going to fabricate the 1/8" 2023 T3 new panel to put over the old one. I dicided
that a glass panel  is a good idea.
Thanks for the help

Regards
Stan

« on: September 13, 2011, 07:35:06 AM »
Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllo Guys

I would like to replace my Long instrument panel...My panel is very very old.(Has Loran???)
I don't want to go to a glass panel however, I do want to have a GPS built in.
I will replacing my panel with a 1/8" 2024 T3 aluminum. I will leave a 1" ledge and will be able to screw the new panel in and out.
Can some of you nice folks please send me some photos of some panels and help me figure out  what goes where.

Any Ideas????

Thanks and BGest Regards

Hello Everyone

I just got my Long EZ yesterday

My first question ( an Im sure there will be many more) When you are sitting in the cockpit with the nose in the
parked position, should you be able to crank the nose wheel down. What is the procedure for getting in or out of the airplane  with or without the passenger

Many thanks
Stan

« on: September 08, 2011, 02:53:44 PM »
HI guys
I am very happy  to be a new member of this forum

I am picking up my new(almost) Long EZ  in the next couple of days
My question is--when I was at the airport, I noticed that the airplane
has an exhaust with no muffler. Is it possible to find a exhaust that comes with I muffler???
I hate noise

Thank you !!!!!! ???
Best Regards
