Hangar Flying / Long Ez possibly in near future

Drew,
Thank you for that great reply! You said a lot of things I needed to hear....I guess I'm just not very confident when it comes to building things....you should see the last CD cabinet I built!
I guess here is what it boils down to....I fear that I would spend 5 years building something, and then find out that there is something about the plane that gets me.......the high landing speed....right handed controls for a dominately left handed person, etc. I know I would ultimately find the time to build, but would I really like the end result? I hear you guys talk and I can hear the "Love" you have for your planes, so I know it must be rewarding...I can sense that from this community!
The only thing I have to compare it to is 10F (C-172n) and 588HC (C-172xp). I love the look of the Canards, and best of all, the performance. I feel these airplanes could give me what I had envisioned when I started training for my Private ticket. So I sure don't want to come off as some snot-nosed kid who has money to spend, and I sure hope I didn't offend any of you, I just wanted to make sure I was ready for that leap of faith, and was trying to "compensate" for my lack of "shop" skills.
Anyway, thanks again Drew, I appreciate your candid post.
Take Care,
Steve
