Title: WANTED : Long EZ engine mount
Post by: Stuart on August 30, 2009, 08:23:48 AM
I need a Long EZ engine mount for a O-320, it is an older conical mount style...
Please E-Mail me at CoastalStuart@aol.com
I have a Dynafocal mount that is bent in a few places, I paid $200 for it, I will sell it for $100. It will need some heat and bending.
Thank you
Stuart

Yes the tube stub mounts at the extrusions is the same geometry - the extrusions are at the same angle but have an additional wood wedge inserted to accommodate the slightly wider angle of the longerons due to the wider fuselage.
The Long Ez mount (whether Cont / Lyc conical or dynofocal) usually has thicker wall stub tubes than was called out in the Cont O-200 engine VE plans. Regards Steve
