Title: Looking for someone to do a fam flight
Post by: GuppyDriver on December 04, 2014, 07:20:11 PM
I'm interested in buying/building a Long EZ for my commute to Chicago. I'm mainly intrigued by it's efficiency, but I grew up going to KOSH and have always been fond of the design. Before I start looking real hard at a plane or project, I want to make sure it's the correct platform for me.
I was led to ez.org to sign up for the CSA newsletter and directory, so I can get ahold of someone local for a familiarization ride. I haven't been able to figure out how to sign up. I need a little hand-holding...please.
I live in Appleton, WI...near homebuilder mecca...so someone must be pretty close.
Thanks! Tim Holmes

I sent you a PM. Hope that worked.
If you are ever in the STL area when we have VFR weather and can get our schedules together, I would be happy to give you a ride. WARNING - very few in your position that I have given rides to have been able to turn their backs on the canard design. :-) I can provide references for this statement!
