Hello Justin,

Unless you're hard over on having a set of "official" plans you might consider looking into what the Open EZ folks are doing:

http://www.canardzone.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1633

You purchase a TERF CD for the plans (which are blessed by Burt) and use the Open EZ templates (verified against the actual Long EZ templates) to complete the build.

If you already own a copy of the plans, simply download the Open EZ templates and you're good to go.

I help people find plans of all the Canards - I can pretty much guarantee you will get a set if you put in a little search work for them.

I'll show you how.

Hello everybody,

I am new to this and am very interested in building a Long EZ. I am in my early stages of planning but I am very sold on the idea. I am going to sell my boat this spring to pay for this project. I owned a Grumman Yankee but sold it before moving to Alaska. I am looking for plans and looked at the TERF web site and downloaded the EZ templates from their website. If I purchase THE RUTAN AIRCRAFT FACTORY CD-ROM ENCYCLOPEDIA© CD for $295, will that and the templates that I downloaded from their site be all of the plans and templates that I need to build a Long EZ? Will it also include the plans for the Roncz canard?

Happy flying to you all,
Jeff
