Just curious if there are any members around the central valley? I am interested in building a long-ez or cozy---haven't decided yet. I would like to meet someone that has or is building a canard. Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hangar Flying / Long-EZ with O-360

Just curious those with a O360 do they usually run over gross? or is their payload severely limited? Figured it basically becomes a 1 person airplane after that no? Thanks.

Hangar Flying / E-Racer

I am planning on building an airplane and so far the E-Racer is my top choice. With an io-360 it looks like it can do 190kts true and have a useful load of ~800lbs? is my information correct? Do they have constant speed propellers? What do I need to know as a first time builder? Can I take classes to teach me to common techniques? Lastly are there any canard builders in the Sacramento, CA area?
