hello all,
the drive gear issue happened only when the NON-ORIGINAL,DRIVE GEAR WAS USED...if the Original gear from your magnetos..are used..they will be just fine...(assuming that it has no excessive wear to start with)

are the plugs you used...18mm?..or do they need the plug adapters to fit into the lyco or conti hole?

I Have the latest firmware...and NO PROBLEMS...starting is so easy now...and yes better fuel burn...plugs are way clean...

hi,
varieze and longeze wings are designed to come off...BUT not like a kitfox or an AVID. the avid and kitfox are designed for trailering....
ONCE YOU have trailered an EZE...YOU will not Want TO do it again...not only is it a PAIN in the NECK..(EVEN W/ 3 PEOPLE)..its Time Consuming !! AND Cant be SOLO..
.Everytime its Assembled or Disassembled....there is a good chance the eze gets damaged.....NOW that would suck.

i use a 60x74 sterba...on 0235 powered varieze.....i get 2400 static full power...and 2750-2800 in level flight..@ full...all i can say is that...it does not.."spool up" as fast as my 58X60...and climb is affected only ...your pitch angle is high and speed at 90 kts...i usually pitch at 130...and i get very good climb rates...

hello all,
i have been tryin to use x-plane..on my pc...but i cant get it to work properly....first i cant seem to get the "full screen" mode..only a partial window..second ...i cant get any other aircraft,,,only the one that it starts up with...
and yes....my favorite...it freezes...during flight...but the sound..seems continuos...
my pc is fine and is brand new...microsoft flight sim 2004..works..just fine..on it....can anyone shed some light.??

hello ron,

have you checked rotorway?... my experience on the rw 100...is that it is a hybrid of all kinds of auto parts.. my friend KEN MINTZ,, used one on his varieze for a couple of years UNTIL ..IT FAILED AND HE CRASHED...3 YEARS AGO...
luckily he walked away...the varieze is still being re-built by him...he has installed a 0-290D SINCE....
and i do KNow THAT he still has that RW engine in his garage...E-MAIL HIM...kmintz2@cox.net :?

hello everyone,

i come here after a days work to read on updates and news, and to relax but seems to me that some PEOPLE might be turning it INTo a
Complaint department.. FOR other people....it EATS away on MORALE of this place.
i have never seen or heard about the vari on ebay...I HAVE NEVER flown it or sat behind it.., i DO NOT know who the builder or the owner IS..i have no first hand experience on this plane
I have NO RIGHT or Business to make judgements about it.
I have no RIGHT to PLACE "WARNING ADS" about its SPECS
IT IS NOBODYS BUSINESS. BUT THE BUYER AND THE SELLER
i know a few people who would not DARE sell there canards here , because of this .UNFAIR PHENOMENON.
Lets keep eze.org..a fun and nice place it has always :cry: been.

HELLO ALL,
for AWHILE i thought it was just me.... i too hear " thumpinG"...only on decent..power down or idle....
i am using a 0-235...w/ a p-51 scoop...and a cessna type carb heat box... WHAT IS HAPPENING ...is when i am decending....the airspeed is still high...and i pull back the throttle...the RAM AIR is pushing into the airfilter box which is directly facing the scoop...
THE fuel/air mixture becomes extremly lean...causing a backfire..."THUMPING".... ALL I DID IS reverse the carb heat box...facing away..from the RAm AIR... and ..no more thumping>>>
