Title: Greetings from Germany!

Servus!

Hey all! My name is Brian. I'm a long time American GA pilot living just outside Nuremberg, Germany. I've always been a follower of canard aircraft and a lifelong fan of Burt Rutan and his work. I am an aeronautical engineer by education, industry-trained as an experimental flight test engineer, but am a UH-60 Blackhawk pilot by trade, stationed out here.

Flying in Europe is slightly different (as far as airspace is concerned), but make no mistake, the General Aviation community is big, and would probably be a whole lot bigger but for some of the restrictions some countries have out here.

I look forward to chatting with you all!!

I spent a little time in Stuttgart a year or so ago and met up with some fine folks at Poltringen airfield including a Long-Eze owner. IF you want to get into Sailplanes, that's the place to do it.
