For Sale/Wanted / Grove Gear Hoop for sale
« on: November 03, 2013, 04:14:31 PM »
This was custom made by Grove Aircraft for a four place canard called the SQ2000. It is airfoiled and drilled for brake lines. It measures 78.5" from outer axle pad to outer axle pad. 33.5" from ground to bottom of the gear hoop.
It's gonna be heavy and expensive to ship so Id prefer local pick up at Camarillo airport. KCMA.
Make offer.

« on: May 22, 2012, 07:13:01 PM »
I need some dimensions off the firewall. I need the distance from the engine mount bolts top and bottom as well as side to side. And if you have the distance from firewall to the engine mount rings thy would be helpful. Im trying to see if I can use a cozy mkiv mount for my project.
Thanks!

Hangar Flying / Death of the Canard Builders??
« on: March 14, 2012, 11:25:42 PM »
Im not sure if its just this forum or every Canard forum but since I have been following in the past  15 years or so the Canard presence online has all but dissapeared.
I can go for a weeks and find nothing new on this forum.  Has the reign of the Canard era given way to the Vans RV?? Or Has composite building as a whole given way to the Vans RV??
A friend of mine said the Canard community is dying with the people of its time because no new builders are coming into it. It seems that way which is sad to see..
