For Sale/Wanted / In the market for a VariEze..Long-EZ
« on: October 25, 2011, 05:44:54 PM »
Hi,

First time poster, long time gawker. I find myself in a position in life where flying something fun again is an itch in need of scratching! My civie flying job can get boring but gives me plenty of time to wish for something fun.

I am looking for someone who might know someone who is on the fence about selling their airplane and might need a little "suggestion". (That is how I bought my first airplane!)

First and foremost, I want a SOLID airplane!! I plan on putting my kid (one and only) in the back and want something I feel totally comfortable with. It does not have to be IFR (I live in AZ where the sun shines..even at night). A decent panel is a plus but takes a distant backseat to the SOLID requirement.

So, anyone know of anyone (maybe you) that is looking to part with their pride and joy? It will be looked at by other eyes so keep that in mind. Also, I live in the Phoenix area and would love to look at an EZ and connect with folks in the vicinity.

I first flew in a Long-EZ in 1991 and was hooked from break release. I have been blessed with flying a lot of cool airplanes and the Long always stuck out as a blast..and cool! A Varieze is certainly in the running and for now, preferred for cost reasons. A partnership is worth looking at as well.

Thanks in advance! For those of you flying Rutan's legend, I am envious!

Tim
