Title: Long Ez molded nose
Post by: ozarkav8r on December 26, 2016, 08:22:46 AM
I have a molded nose that came with my Long Ez project. (Not sure who produced this)

Does anyone have any experience attaching this to the fuselage?

I would appreciate any tips or advice.  Somewhat tempted to carve my own and not bother with it.

See attached picture

Your small picture appears to have 2 nose cones with a possible section for attaching between one and the fuselage.  Enlarged, I was less sure if these parts were even part of a Long-eze.

Please give more information about what you think it is and how it is to be used.  I have done a lot of repairs, but no actual building of components.  If it were me, and there is no nose, I would use the plans to build a new one.  Somewhere along the way I might discover why these pieces were/are not installed.

Here is another picture.  It is actually a left and right half that apparently supposed to be joined together.

I have not seen this before either.  I'm a former cozy mkiv builder but new to the long ez world.(http://)
