Title: Instrument Panels
Post by: Vandy12 on August 15, 2014, 08:54:36 PM
Hi All;
Been a while but thought I'd stir the pot a bit. Anybody want to share a photo or two of their panel? Here's the one I've been building for my Varieze refurb project. Using B and C fuse blocks as main and avionics busses, and their 'forest of fast-on' ground busses on the firewall and again up front. This was the first power-up this last weekend.

This is a LEZ on the ground since 1994 for repairs and restoration. The avionics have been on hand since 2010.
1. Original panel, 1984 - 1994 2. Current (no panel) 3. Proposed panel layout w/ Dynon Skyview, Garmin 430W, VP-50, GTX-327 transponder

Not gonna get any fancier. Would rather spend the money on fuel!

I'd guess I have 500 pictures of panels...are you looking mostly for tandem planes with glass panels?

Beagle: That's mighty nice. I saw it at KFLY, but it was not turned on like in this picture. Do you have anything for the GIB? Also, how long have you had smoke?
