Hangar Flying / baggage pods

I have seen several Varieze's with baggage pods. Without getting into a discussion of weight etc. are these the same pods that a Longeze uses or are they designed just for a Varieze?

Does anyone have a good source for Tempurpedic foam or a suitable substitute? Also, any advice on seats will be greatlly appreciated.

Believe it or not I have a set of the original Varieze seats along wit the suitcases that have never been used, but they just aren't cutting the mustard.

on page 37 of the VE O-235 engine installation plans in paragraph 3 springs are mentioned to return the mixture and throttle controls. What size springs do I use. the only numbers I can find are C161 and Century Springs says that those are compression springs. these should be extension springs.

Hangar Flying / Some advice on propellers please

You guys have been great and I appreciate all the help. My VE is coming along nicley. With a little luck I will have a 30th anniversary edition at Osh Kosh or Rough River or both.

I have a Great American prop and the old aluminum spinner. My first inclination is to get the plane in the air with these and change them later if I want to. But on the other hand it won't take very long to order a new prop and composite spinner.. after all it's only money.

Anybody have any advice on what i should get if I change? 2 blade? three blade? what manufacturer. Will I get any weight advantage to speak of by going to something new? etc. etc etc.
