Title: Canopy Replacement
Post by: walter on February 24, 2007, 11:36:27 AM
Can a damaged canopy be removed from the canopy frame so as to be able to use the frame for a new canopy? If so, how does one go about performing the task of removal and replacement?

I just finished replacing my canopy on my verieze used a dremmel to cut old glass out of frame . Had problem getting the right canopy for eze but finally made the canopy I recieved work after about 40 hours of work it is ready for test flight. I laid up three bids of ply on the outside and three on the inside aprox 1 inch on the plexiglass. had to modify the frame to make the new canopy fit. its a long story . but it looks good. if you need exact details you can email me a rebel777@frontier net.net
